In 2019, amid a landscape where spiritual exploitation masqueraded as healing and desperation often led believers into the clutches of shirk and bid‘ah, Ruqyah India was born. Our founding was not merely an initiative—it was a declaration of war against the corruption of one of Islam’s most profound mercies: authentic Ruqyah.

The Spark: Confronting a Crisis of Faith

India’s Muslim community faced a silent epidemic. Families grappling with sihr (witchcraft), ‘ayn (evil eye), jinn afflictions, and unexplained spiritual torment found themselves navigating a minefield of “healers” peddling rituals involving talismans, grave worship, jinn summoning, and financial extortion. The pure, Prophetic practice of Ruqyah—grounded solely in the Qur’an and Sunnah—was drowning in a sea of superstition and innovation.

We recognized an urgent need: A sanctuary where Tawheed reigned supreme, where healing was pure, and where the vulnerable were shielded from predators.

The Foundation: Scholarship as Our Cornerstone

Ruqyah India was built upon the unshakeable legacy of trusted scholars, most notably the esteemed Sheikh Ben Halima, whose rigorous works on Qur’anic healing and the Fiqh of Ruqyah became our theological compass. From day one, we committed:

“No recitation without validation. No practice without precedent. No healing without Haqq (Truth).”

Our methodology was meticulously crafted:

• Qur’an & Sunnah: Exclusively using verses and du‘as authenticated by the Prophet ﷺ.

• Scholar Oversight: Every protocol vetted by ‘Ulama to eradicate shirk and bid‘ah.

   As demand surged, we formed our official healing corps: The Ruqaa—a title exclusive to Ruqyah India. This elite team embodied:

   • Qualification: Rigorous training in Qur’anic recitation, Sunnah practices, and Fiqh.

   • Integrity: Bound by oath to reject shirk, bid‘ah, and exploitation.

3. The Accountability Awakening (2023-Present):
   Healing alone wasn’t enough. Fake raqis continued to devastate communities. So The Ruqaa embraced a dual role:

   • Healers for the afflicted,

   • Guardians for the Ummah.

   • Name and shame fraudsters using shirk or manipulation.

   • Equip Muslims with tools to identify authentic Ruqyah.
